Gorilla trekking at volcanoes national park in Musanze district is one of the sought after tourism activities in Rwanda. This has made Rwanda very popular in the world of tourism. Gorilla trekking involves hiking through the jungle of Virunga ranges in search of the gorillas deeply in the misted forests.

Gorilla trekking is a very challenging and vigorous activity as you have to climb the ranges of Virunga for more than 2 hours to find the gorillas in their families. more so mountain gorillas are endangered species of animals that are anytime getting extinct if not carefully protected. The rainy season does not necessarily mean that the gorillas are inaccessible.

According to the calendar the best time for gorilla trekking can be between January and February and from June up to September and early October. Due to global warming the climate is so unpredictable it can rainy any month but the above mentioned above are most probably warm in Rwanda.
