1 Days Gorilla Tracking in Volcanoes National Park
Travel to volcanoes national park
You will be picked at your respective hotel in the morning, and then taken to the volcanoes national park. It will take around two hours to reach Ruhengeri. It is advisable to reach the headquarters at around 8:00am and be briefed on how to track the gorillas.
Gorilla tracking and return to Kigali.
After being briefed you will head to the forests of Virunga to relate and track the habituated rare mountain gorillas. You will be advised to take packed lunch because it takes around 2-6hours to track down the gorilla. The protocol is a 1 hours time allowed trailing with the gorillas in the jungle. Then you will return to Kigali to wait for your flight.
